INTEX OSAKA is an int’l MICE that hosted the G20 Osaka Summit

INTEX OSAKA, which was established in Suminoe Ward, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture in 1985, is the largest exhibition center in western Japan with a total exhibition area of 70,000 square meters and a site area of 120,000 square meters. Adjacent to the hotel, restaurants, shopping, conference halls, large-scale exhibition halls, and other comprehensive commercial facilities, it is bustling as the core facility of the Osaka Bay Area.

More than 200 events are held each year, with over 3 million visitors. Various events (Medical Japan Osaka) such as large-scale seminars, academic conferences, and incentive parties were held, and in June 2019, it was also used as the venue for the G20 Osaka Summit. INTEX OSAKA is a facility that represents MICE* in western Japan and is operated by the Osaka International Economic Promotion Center.

*MICE is a coined word using the initials of Meeting, Incentive Travel, Convention, and Exhibition/Event, and is a general term for these business events.

The total area of the exhibition hall (including outdoor exhibitions) is approximately 73,000 ㎡, the largest in western Japan

Consisting of Halls 1 to 6, it has a total of 10 exhibition halls ranging from 1,625 ㎡ to 10,535 ㎡ that can meet various needs such as international trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, seminars and parties.

Building 1

Building No. 1
An exhibition hall with an area of approximately 5,000 ㎡ that is easy to use for exhibitions. It is also possible to connect with Building No. 2 across the arcade and use it widely.

Building 2

Building No. 2
An exhibition hall with an area of approximately 6,700 ㎡ that is easy to use for exhibitions. It is also possible to connect with Building No. 1 across the arcade and use it widely.

Building 3

Building No. 3
The exhibition hall is approximately 5,000 ㎡ with no pillars and high ceilings. An adjacent outdoor exhibition space of approximately 2,900 ㎡ can also be used, which can be used for various events.

Building 4

Building No. 4
An exhibition hall with an area of approximately 6,700 ㎡ that is easy to use for exhibitions. It is also possible to connect with the A zone of Building 5 across the arcade and use it widely.

Building 5A

Building No. 5A
With an area of approximately 5,000 ㎡ and no pillars and can be turned off in the dark, the exhibition hall is ideal for seminars and concerts. It is also possible to connect to Building 4 and the adjacent Building 5 B zone across the arcade for wide use.

Building 5B

Building No. 5B
The smallest exhibition hall in INTEX Osaka with an area of approximately 1,600 ㎡. It can be connected to the adjacent Building No. 5 A and used as a waiting room or product sales venue.

Building 6A

Building No. 6A
With an area of approximately 9,600 ㎡, it is the largest of the exhibition halls on the 1st floor, along with Zone B of Hall 6. There is a parking lot on the roof of Building 6, so access to the exhibition hall is convenient.

Building 6B

With an area of approximately 9,600 ㎡, it is the largest of the 1st floor exhibition halls, along with Zone A of Hall 6. There is a parking lot on the roof of Building 6, so access to the exhibition hall is convenient.

Building 6C

Building No. 6C
At approximately 10,000 ㎡, it has the largest exhibition area in INTEX Osaka, along with Zone D in Hall 6. Because it is on the 3rd floor, it is easy to use as an exhibition for specific invited guests or as an examination venue.

Building 6D

At approximately 10,000 ㎡, it has the largest exhibition area in INTEX Osaka, along with Zone C in Hall 6. Because it is on the 3rd floor, it is easy to use as an exhibition for specific invited guests or as an examination venue.

Not only the site area but also the ability to respond to a full range of facilities

Various events can be held, from large-scale events that make full use of the six exhibition halls to small and medium-sized events held on the same day. They can also provide support in terms of hardware and software, and the 200-inch “INTEX Vision” can provide timely information to visitors, such as event information, facility guidance, live broadcasts and commercials.

There are plenty of food, drinks, and on-site amenities. They have a wide variety of facilities and equipment, including a variety of restaurants with Japanese, Western, and cafeterias, toilets and powder rooms exclusively for women that meet the needs of women, a baby room, and a business center.
